ExtraStaff Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 17, 2026
ExtraStaff is a mobile marketplace for temporary hospitality shifts. The app helps restaurants, bars, hotels, and hospitality workers connect for extra shifts. ExtraStaff is based on reputation, not CVs.
ExtraStaff is provided by PM Studio. Contact: infoextrastaff@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the marketplace, protect users, and improve reliability.
- Account information: email address, user type, policy acceptance timestamp, and authentication data handled by Supabase.
- Worker profile information: name, profile photo, roles, spoken languages, bio, availability, maximum distance, private job-alert location, reputation, completed jobs, ratings, reviews, and references.
- Business profile information: business name, business type, location, and profile image.
- Job, application, and shift information: role, date, time, hourly pay, area or address, description, applications, accepted shifts, completed shifts, cancellations, no-shows, and review status.
- Chat and notifications: job conversations, push notification tokens, and notification records.
- Location information for job search, matching, and worker alerts. Worker alert location is not intended to be public.
ExtraStaff uses email authentication only. The app does not use SMS verification, phone verification, ID verification, passport verification, DNI verification, or CV uploads.
How we use information
We use information to create accounts, show profiles, post jobs, manage applications, confirm shifts, prevent overlapping confirmed shifts, enable chat, calculate reputation, show reviews and references, send notifications, provide support, and prevent misuse.
What other users can see
Public worker profiles, public business profiles, public job posts, reputation, reviews, and references may be visible to other users. Chat messages are visible only to the worker and business involved in that job conversation.
Service providers and sharing
ExtraStaff uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions, and Expo for app builds, updates, and push notifications. These providers process data as needed to provide app infrastructure. ExtraStaff may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, to investigate misuse, or to protect the security of the marketplace. ExtraStaff does not sell user personal information.
Payments
ExtraStaff does not process worker wages or shift payments. Payment amount, method, timing, contracts, tax obligations, permits, and work conditions are handled directly between the worker and the business. ExtraStaff may later introduce paid packages or subscriptions for businesses.
Data retention and deletion
Authenticated users can request deletion inside the app from Menu -> Settings -> Delete profile. Users can also request deletion at pmstudio.net/extrastaff/delete-account.
When an account is deleted, ExtraStaff deletes or disconnects account profile data that is no longer needed to provide the service. Some limited records may be retained, anonymized, or kept in restricted form where necessary for marketplace integrity, dispute prevention, safety, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or operational records.
User choices and security
Users can edit profile information, choose notification settings, control device permissions, delete their account where available, or browse in guest mode. ExtraStaff uses Supabase authentication, database permissions, storage permissions, and row-level security policies. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections where supported by the service providers.
Changes and contact
This policy may change as ExtraStaff develops. If the policy changes materially, ExtraStaff will update the effective date and may notify users in the app or by other appropriate means.
